Karin is a qualified Clinical Audiologist with over 15 years of experience in assessing, managing, and preventing a wide range of ear and hearing conditions across all age groups—from toddlers to older adults. Having witnessed firsthand the profound impact of noise-induced hearing loss on individuals and their families, Karin has shifted her focus toward prevention and protection, championing proactive hearing health over reactive device-based management.
Her clinical expertise is complemented by close collaboration with Ear, Nose and Throat specialists across Western Australia, giving her a comprehensive understanding of dry ear precautions—particularly following eardrum perforations, grommet insertions, and in the prevention of swimmer’s ear. Karin is passionate about empowering people with tailored hearing protection solutions and continues to advocate for early intervention and education in hearing health.
Marco Teixeira
Marco brings over 14 years of hands-on experience from mine sites across Western Australia. Having trialed countless hearing protection solutions in the harsh, high-noise environments of trucks, loaders, and drilling rigs, Marco understands firsthand the challenges of safeguarding hearing in industrial settings.
With a growing awareness of the long-term consequences of noise exposure, Marco has become a passionate advocate for hearing protection across multiple industries. His practical insight and leadership make him a trusted voice in promoting Custom Earplugs WA’s unique solutions.
Marco is highly skilled in earmould impression taking for all age groups and leads the team in advising on custom in-ear monitors and headsets—ensuring every product is tailored for comfort, performance, and protection.
