Karin Teixeira
Karin Teixeira is a qualified, clinical Audiologist with over 10 years’ experience assessing, managing and preventing all types and degrees of ear and hearing difficulties. As she has seen first-hand how hearing loss caused by noise negatively impacts individuals and their families, she has shifted her focus in promoting hearing loss prevention and protection, rather than management with hearing devices hearing aids or cochlear implants). She has also worked closely with Ear, Nose and Throat specialists across WA, and has a clear understanding on the role dry ear precautions play following eardrum perforations, grommet insertion and in the prevention of swimmer’s ears. She specialises in all age groups (from 12-months of age).
Marco Teixeira
Marco Teixeira has over 12 years’ experience working at multiple mine sites across WA, predominantly as a diamond driller. He has trialed multiple hearing protection plugs over the years due to the harsh noisy environment found at these locations, i.e., trucks, loaders and rigs. Currently working as a Supervisor, safety for his crew forms a significant part of his responsibility. Since becoming more aware of the consequences of noise exposure, he has actively started promoting hearing protection amongst various industries and is keen to share his knowledge on our unique product. Marco has mastered the skill in earmould impression taking in all age groups, and is the team leader in advising on the various custom in-ear monitors and headsets.
